The Second International Workshop on Game Theory, Social Choice, and Mechanism Design, to be held on April 16–17, 2026 at the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA) in Rabat, Morocco, brings together researchers working on both the theoretical and applied aspects of collective decision-making.
Organized by the SI2M Laboratory (Laboratory for Research in Information Systems, Intelligent Systems, and Mathematical Modeling), the workshop aims to foster interactions among scholars in game theory, social choice, and mechanism design, with a particular focus on recent advances in implementation theory, voting theory, and allocation problems. The program features invited talks, contributed presentations, and PhD defenses, offering a dynamic platform for both senior and junior researchers to exchange ideas. Special emphasis is placed on the interplay between theory and real-world applications, including institutional design, electoral systems, and economic mechanisms. The workshop also seeks to strengthen collaborations between Moroccan institutions and leading international research centers.
